“Common Grounds” by Richard Pennell

Building on the themes in “Grass Routes”, “Common Grounds” features 27 courses across Great Britain & Ireland, with a pit-stop in the heathlands above Paris and a snowball-chucking contest in the Swiss Alps for good measure. It is a celebration of the rustic roots of the game, delivered in short chapters and interspersed with gorgeous, monochrome photography.
