Richard Pennell has been playing golf for thirty-five years, and is still trying to work out why. Over twenty of these years have been spent working in golf, first in greenkeeping then in management, and he finally started writing about this terrible addiction during lockdown, as he could no longer bear not to. He can be found either dreaming of links land and Claret Jugs or looking for a small, white ball in the heather, west of London.
